  • How to Get Inbound Backlinks to Your Porn Site

    When I started doing SEO in 2001 it was a relatively new science. There weren’t many people doing it, there was no automation and it was relatively easy to find link partners. And you didn’t even need all that many to destroy your competition, simply because your competition usually wasn’t aware of such a thing as SEO.

    Nowadays, there are a number of factors that make this a far more competitive and difficult environment to work in. Automated tools have been developed that create thousands of spam like inbound links across the web in a matter of days, which means:

    • Search engines are changing their algorithms regularly to try and weed these guys out
    • Site owners are annoyed by all the spam and less likely to allow outbound links on their sites
    • This influx of inbound links from all the people using these software packages have increased the curve on the sheer number of inbound links that you need to get noticed

    Don’t let this dissuade you though. If you picked a good niche and you keep at it you can get rankings  under the terms you want. Besides, the inbound link options for adult websites have always been limited due to the nature of the content we provide. Because of this, we need to rely on adult link exchange to get our links. This means that we add a link to someone’s site in exchange for a link back from one of their sites. There are two types of link exchange:

    1. One Way Links – this is where one porn site links to your site and you DON’T link directly back to that same site. You link to one of that persons other adult sites likely. This looks more natural to Google and gives you better link juice, as it’s called.
    2. Reciprocal Links – A reciprocal link is where one porn site links to your porn site and you link directly back to that same site. This is not as strong as one way adult links but it’s still a link.

    So Who do I Trade Links With and How do I Get Those Links?!

    So you love porn and want to have a go at making a living from it. In my opinion the easiest way to break into the porn industry is with a porn web site. Let’s talk about how we can start a porn website!

    Some people start with a name, some people start by deciding on a particular category or niche that they want to specialize in. Some people don’t know where to start.

    A porn site is no different than any other project. If you want to be successful you should start with a plan. A good way to begin any plan is to start with a bit of a brainstorming session. Use the following list as a worksheet to get some ideas about the direction that you’d like to see your porn site go in.

    4. What do you want to call your website?
    5. What will make your adult website better than the next?
      1. How are you planning to keep users looking at your content the longest.
    6. How will you make money from your new pornsite?
    7. What kind of budget do I have to get this thing started?
      1. Yes, you do need some money (not very much) to get a porn site started.

    I will help you find the answers to these questions in the articles to come, but sit down and try to answer them your self as an initial step. This will help to get you thinking about this.

    Building a successful porn site isn’t done by flicking a switch. You have to treat it as a real start up business. Haha, who am I kidding. A porn site should work for you like a business, but it’s porn. It should also be a lot of fun. That’s why you want to start a porn site in the first place right? However you treat it, make wise, well-informed decisions in the beginning and you will see better results down the road!

  • Design Matters Part 2 – Planning Your Adult Website Design

    Planning… In the world of adult website production and design this step is  often overlooked. When you sit in front of your computer, and jump straight into working on your adult website it’s easy to lose site about what the big picture is and how the one piece that you’re concentrating on either contributes to or fights against your end goal. That’s why this adult website how to article is dedicated strictly to planning a porno tube website.

    I noticed that I have a few problems with my Big Boob Tube website.

    1. I’m not getting high rankings under the key phrases I want
    2. The traffic that does come to my site quickly leaves, as I can see by my high bounce rate in my Analytics Account
    3. I haven’t made any money… no one is clicking my affiliate links

    This is why I sat down, away from the computer, with a pen and paper and drew up some wire frames that I think will solve these problems. A wireframe, by the way, is a simple sketch of the generalized areas of your website design. It’s used to illustrate how areas are going to work and to help webmasters, like you and me, to look at the big picture without getting hung up on content and capabilities.

    I have 3 types of pages on my site, so I only needed 3 wireframes. You likely only have 3 types of pages too AND most of the stuff on these pages is the same, so this is easy!

    1. Home page
    2. Category video listing page
    3. Video Details page – the page the video plays on

    Home Page

    This is where most visitors are going to land AND the page that search engines will pay the most attention to. So 2 goals here:

    1. Get visitors to click and move into the site
    2. Optimize the crap out of this page

    Listing Page

    The listing page is like a vehicle to get the visitor to his next video as painlessly as possible. It’s one job is to show the visitor something he likes ans make it easy to get there.

    This is where most conversions happen. Our hope is that the visitor will finish a video, be looking for something more and click on one of our ads.

    So these are the sketches, we’ll see how it plays out in sometime down the road!

    I’ve done a fresh WordPress and Adultere install to help me illustrate some of the techniques I’ve been describing better. It’s my plan to user this site to show live examples of how adult affiliate content and advertising works. AND how to make money from your adult site of course!

  • Dog Fart Adult Affiliate Tube Export for WordPress

    Dog fart is another adult affiliate that offers an adult  tube content export that we can import into wordpress and the wordpress tube plugin – adultere. Once you’ve signed up for an account with them login and click on Ad Tools. Choose the Tube Content item and follow the steps below:

    1. Click the radio button beside Advanced mode.
    2. Paste this code into the Advanced mode text box:
      ‘{title}’,'{description}’,'{video_url}’,'{pic_url}’,'{site_link}’,'{category}’
    3. Click the Download radio button under popular formats
    4. Click Generate to download the CSV file for import into wordpress

    This is where it gets a little tricky. The Dog Fart export engine replaces the single quotes with it’s hex value so you have to open the export file in notepad and do a find and replace on this.

    1. Open the export.txt file in notepad
    2. Press Ctrl+H to bring up the find and replace dialogue
    3. Enter ” into the find field
    4. Enter nothing into the replace field (this will remove all of the double quotes)
    5. Press Ctrl+H to bring up the find and replace dialogue again
    6. Enter #039 into the find field
    7. Enter ” into the replace field
    8. Save the file and upload to wordpress!
    9. Choose convert niches to categories when you do the upload.

     

     

  • Get Affiliate Content from JuggCash

    If you’ve completed the build of your adult web site site and already have a decent base of AEBN Adult content built up, it might be time to expand your horizons and try another affiliate network. JuggCash.com is a good next step.

    Like AEBN, JuggCash sets you up with an array of tools to help you distribute some pretty high quality porn material and make some money from it.     The only down side is that these guys are stricter about who they allow to be members. All accounts are manually reviewed before approval. In fact the first time I signed up, a while back, I got denied.

    How Do I Make Sure I Get Approved with JuggCash?

    They’re looking for established sites in their members so like I said, if you’re just starting out use AEBN instead. Some things to do before applying:

    • Finish building your porn site completely
    • Get content from AEBN and fill up the site with some nice affiliate content
    • Make sure your site is clean, free of errors
    • Correct all spelling mistakes

    How to Create an Account with JuggCash

    1. Go to JuggCash.com
    2. Click on the “Click Here Signup Today Link”
    3. Fill in the form correctly
      (you’ll notice a spot for ICQ #, if you have one ener it here, if you don’t have one skip for now)
    4. Complete the next step (Payment Information) and submit
    5. You’ll be asked to contact someone via ICQ to confirm your account.
    6. If you don’t have ICQ get it and create an account at ICQ
    7. Sign into your ICQ account and send them a message like this:
      “Hi there, just wanted to confirm my new JuggCash account. My user name is [enter your username here]”

    That’s it! Just wait. If you’ve got an “acceptable” site you’ll get a message saying your account has been activated. If you don’t get activated, look at the reason they give you and see if there are any improvements you can make to your site.

  • How Do I Make Money from non Porn Sites

    Porn isn’t the only sector that you can make money in on the web. Using the same strategies that you use in the porn web site sector you can make money marketing other products on the web. If anyone’s interested in these other methods leave me a comment and maybe I can start up a category on this. Until then, you can do a little research on your own:

    Check out some of these systems for getting up and running in other niches! (these are all paid systems, and the pages are pretty salesy, but there is some interesting info and numbers on these pages).

    There are a tonne of these, but you get the idea.   • Make Money With Affiliate Banners

    Let’s add some affiliate banners and generate some more income for our porn sites. The first part of this tutorial if mainly for AEBN Affiliates, if you’re not signed up, get a free account here.

    Step 1. Find Your Banners

    1. Login to your AEBN Account
    2. Click on Sales Tools in the main menu then scroll down and click “Get Banners”
    3. This should pop open a new window that
    4. Scroll down down and find your Niche (Boobs, Anal, Milf, Etc.). My web site is about Big Boobs so I searched for boobs and selected the “Boob Pay Per View website”.
    5. Click Banner Beside your choice.
    6. Find a banner that your think will appeal to your visitors. We want to get something that will entice our audience to click.
      1. I like this banner because it has a “Get Your Free Clip”. This is  a good call to action for my site because my audience is looking for primarily free porn. Plus it’s got a hot  chick on it with big boobs.
    9. Keep this page loaded. You’re goign ot be using the HTML under “Copy this code to your page” in a minute.

    Step 2. Add Your Banner to your Adultere Porno Tube Web Site

    Let’s get this banner up on the site and making us some money! For this we’re going to edit our site template. Do this at your own risk, but if you’re not sure about what you’re doing, make a copy of the files you edit. That way if you screw something up, you can just rename your backup copy and start over!

    You’re going to need an understanding of the following web technologies for this.

    These aren’t hard to learn and you don’t need to know much. If you’re not sure, just try the tutorial and use the links above for reference – Backup your files.

    1. Connect to your site with FTP
    2. Find the Adultere theme folder and open the file “header.php”.
      Somewhere like: /wp-content/themes/twentyten-adultere/
    3. Find the part (try line 53) where it says:

    4. Replace “{PASTE BANNER HERE}” with your banner code from AEBN.
    5. Save and upload the banner
    6. Check your site!

  • Get Niche Adult Tube Content from Kick Ass Pictures

    These guys have some super niche content. If your niche has things like the following then you gotta get signed up with these guys.

    • Cuckolds
    • Foot Fetish
    • Bukkake and Cum Fetish
    • Handjobs

    An affiliate account with Kick Ass Pictures requires approval from teir staff so be sure to have a site set up before you apply.

  • The Absolute Easiest Adult Affiliate Program to Start With

    When I first stated out I had a bit of trouble finding an adult affiliate program that would actually accept me. I went to some of the big affiliate websites out there in search of content. I set up my ICQ address, registered, verified and then received a number of rejection letters.

    Turns out that there are quite a few adult affiliate programs out there that will not accept your application for a number of reasons:

    1. They want you to prove that you are using other affiliate programs and have seen success with them.
    2. They want to see that you are a functioning site that already has a whole bunch of pron content on your site.

    Since you can’t get any content without an affiliate content provider AND you can’t get registered with an affiliate  unless you have content and are having success working with your affiliates this turns into a “chicken or the egg” situation very quickly!

    There is a solution! Eventually I did find an adult content provider/affiliate program after some searching around! And here it is:
