  • The Many Ways to Make Money Online in the Adult Industry: A Roadmap for My Journey

For years, the adult industry has been one of the internet’s biggest drivers of traffic, technology, and innovation. While tube sites might be the most obvious entry point, they’re just one piece of a much larger puzzle.

As I rebuild my site and document my experiments, I want to share a full picture of all the areas worth exploring. My plan is to test, code, build, and document each one — showing you not just theory, but the reality of what it takes to get traffic, gain users, and ultimately earn money.

    Here’s the roadmap:

    1. Tube Sites

    • What they are: Aggregators of videos (often pulled in via feeds, scrapers, or partnerships).
    • Monetization: Ad networks (Adultforce, ExoClick, TrafficJunky), affiliate redirects, premium upsells.
    • Experiment angle: I’ll use my own custom WordPress plugin (Tube Dreamer) to import and manage videos, test different layouts, and compare ad/affiliate strategies.

    2. Paysites (Subscription-Based)

    • What they are: Traditional model — users pay a monthly fee for exclusive content.
    • Monetization: Recurring subscriptions via processors like CCBill, SegPay, or whitelabel solutions.
    • Experiment angle: Build a minimalistic membership site with a paywall, test whether niche-exclusive content can still thrive in 2025.

    3. Cam Sites & Live Streaming

    • What they are: Platforms where performers broadcast live and interact with viewers.
    • Monetization: Token systems, private shows, revenue-sharing models.
    • Experiment angle: Explore partnerships with existing cam affiliate programs (Chaturbate, LiveJasmin) and experiment with building tools/sites that funnel traffic toward them.

    4. Adult Dating Sites

    • What they are: Casual or hookup-oriented platforms.
    • Monetization: CPA/CPL affiliate deals (get paid per signup or lead), RevShare on subscriptions.
    • Experiment angle: Build landing pages, review sites, and funnels to adult dating offers through networks like CrakRevenue or MyLead.

    5. Chat Sites and Adult Social Platforms

    • What they are: Text or video based adult chat and sexting services.
    • Monetization: Ad networks (Adultforce, ExoClick, TrafficJunky), affiliate redirects, premium upsells.
    • Experiment angle: Set up a test site and get users.

    6. Fetish & Niche Marketplaces

    • What they are: Platforms for selling niche-specific content (clips, photos, custom videos).
    • Monetization: Direct sales, clip store RevShare (Clips4Sale, ManyVids).
    • Experiment angle: Set up a test niche site (fetish-focused) with affiliate tie-ins to clip stores or even coded marketplace functionality.

    7. Sex Toys & E-Commerce

    • What they are: Online stores selling physical products (toys, lingerie, wellness products).
    • Monetization: Affiliate programs (Lovehoney, Adam & Eve) or dropshipping/whitelabel.
    • Experiment angle: Try affiliate toy reviews versus building a simple PHP/WordPress e-com site to test dropshipping adult products.

    8. Traffic Arbitrage

    • What it is: Buying cheap traffic and redirecting it to high-payout offers.
    • Monetization: CPA networks, RevShare programs.
    • Experiment angle: Test ad buys on networks like ExoClick/TrafficJunky and track ROI with various adult offers.

    9. Blogs, Education & Tutorials (Meta Angle)

    • What they are: Exactly what this site is — educational resources about adult business.
    • Monetization: Hosting affiliates, scripts/plugins, traffic networks, premium memberships.
    • Experiment angle: Document everything I try here and offer tools (like plugins, templates, checklists) to help others follow along.

    10. New & Emerging Angles

    • AI-generated content: Exploring whether AI tools (chatbots, avatars, text-to-video) have a place in adult entertainment.
    • NFTs/Web3: Selling adult NFTs or experimenting with blockchain payment models.
    • Custom Dev Projects: Since I enjoy coding, I’ll test building unique tools/plugins that solve problems for adult webmasters.

    My End Goal

This site won’t just be about theory. I’ll treat each of these areas as live experiments:

    • Build something.
    • Get traffic.
    • Monetize.
    • Report back with data, results, and lessons.

The adult industry is huge, but it’s also filled with myths and outdated strategies. By breaking down each angle, documenting my journey, and being transparent about what works (and what doesn’t), this site can become a go-to guide for anyone curious about making money online in the adult industry.

Stay tuned — the first experiments begin soon.

  • How to Monetize Your Adult Tube Website with AdultForce

Running an adult tube website isn’t just about getting videos up and running—it’s about turning traffic into revenue. One of the most popular and reliable ways to do this is by using AdultForce, the affiliate program behind some of the world’s biggest adult networks. In this article, we’ll focus on AdultForce, show you how to set it up with your site, and walk through how to integrate it with the Tube Dreamer plugin.

    What is AdultForce?

AdultForce is an affiliate network that connects your traffic to some of the highest-earning adult platforms (including Pornhub Network sites). Instead of trying to figure out dozens of programs, you can sign up once and gain access to a full suite of offers.

    Key benefits:

    • High conversion rates (these brands already dominate the market).
    • Multiple payout models: revenue share, pay-per-lead (PPL), or hybrid.
    • Easy ad creatives, banners, and video ads you can copy and paste.
    • Reliable, established, and widely trusted in the industry.

Step 1: Create an AdultForce Account

    1. Go to adultforce.com.
    2. Click Sign Up and complete the affiliate application.
      • You’ll need a valid email, payment info, and some details about your website.
    3. Wait for approval (usually quick).

Step 2: Get Your Affiliate Links and Creatives

    1. Log into your AdultForce dashboard.
    2. Navigate to Offers or Creatives.
    3. Choose the type of ad you want:
      • Banner ads (static or animated).
      • Embed ads (video or widgets).
      • Popunders/redirects (aggressive, but high-earning).
    4. Copy the code snippet provided.

Step 3: Placing AdultForce Ads on Your Site

If you’re running a WordPress tube site, you have a few easy ways to add ads:

    • Widgets: Paste your banner code into a Text/Custom HTML widget in the sidebar or footer.
    • Inside posts: Use the WordPress block editor → Custom HTML block → paste code.
    • Theme templates: For advanced users, you can insert code directly in template files (single-video.php, archive-video.php).

Step 4: Using AdultForce with Tube Dreamer

If you’re using the Tube Dreamer plugin, adding AdultForce ads is simple. Tube Dreamer includes ad spots and flexible template parts so you can monetize without hacking theme files.

    Here’s how:

    1. Go to Tube Dreamer → Ads in your WordPress admin.
    2. Paste the AdultForce ad code into the relevant slot (e.g., sidebar, above video, between grid rows).
    3. Save settings.
    4. Refresh your site and confirm your ad is showing.

Because Tube Dreamer uses standard WordPress shortcodes and templates, you can move ads around or rotate them with ease. That means you can test what placements get the best click-through and optimize your revenue.

For more info on Tube Dreamer, check out the landing page here: /tube-dreamer-plugin/

    Other Monetization Options

While AdultForce is a powerhouse, you might want to diversify your income. Some other options include:

    • ExoClick – one of the largest ad networks for adult traffic, with banners, video ads, and popunders.
    • JuicyAds – easy self-serve ad marketplace, popular with tube sites.
    • CrakRevenue – affiliate network with hundreds of adult (and mainstream) offers.
    • Custom Ads/Affiliates – promote cam sites, dating sites, or premium memberships directly.

Mixing AdultForce with one or two of these can maximize your earnings.

    Pro Tips for Success

    • Ad placement matters: Above the fold and near the video player usually get the best clicks.
    • Don’t overload with ads: Too many popups or banners will drive visitors away.
    • Track your performance: Use AdultForce’s reporting tools to see what’s working.
    • A/B test creatives: Rotate different banners to see which convert best.

    Final Thoughts

AdultForce is one of the easiest ways to monetize an adult tube site—it’s trusted, simple to set up, and pairs perfectly with WordPress tools like Tube Dreamer. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to improve your revenue, it’s a must-try affiliate network.

  • Tube Dreamer Plugin Update: Where We’re At & What’s Next

It’s been a busy stretch behind the scenes, and I wanted to share an update on where the Tube Dreamer WordPress plugin stands right now, plus a look at what’s next for anyone building their own tube site.

    What’s Working Today

    • RSS & CSV Import (Pornhub, Eporner):
You can currently import adult videos straight from Pornhub’s RSS feeds and Eporner’s CSV format. That means you can get up and running with real video content in minutes—no more scraping or outdated plugins.
    • Front-End Video Grid:
The plugin comes with a built-in shortcode for displaying your imported videos in a clean, responsive grid on the front end. Users can browse, search, and view embedded previews, all styled to look good out of the box.
    • Custom Post Type:
Videos aren’t mixed in with your blog posts—they’re a separate “Video” post type, keeping things tidy and easy to manage.
    • Categories & Tags:
Assign categories and tags to videos (with some known quirks to iron out), making it easier for visitors to find what they want.
    • Admin Tools:
Import feeds, preview what’s coming in, and filter videos before importing—all from a dedicated admin panel.

    Try it Out!

Check out the new Tube Dreamer adult tube website plugin here. Here you see the latest version as i develop. It may be sown at times a I test new features, but check it out!

    What’s Coming Next

Here’s what’s on my build list for the next phase:

    • Custom Tube Themes:
I’m working on purpose-built tube themes designed for adult video, so you’re not stuck hacking at blog templates or generic “magazine” layouts.
    • CSV Import from More Sources:
Right now, Eporner CSV works—but I’m planning broader support for other major tube sources and CSV formats, so you’re never locked in to one provider.
    • More RSS Options:
Expanding RSS compatibility beyond Pornhub, giving you even more flexibility on where your content comes from.
    • Improved Layouts & Styles:
Expect more front-end layout options and customizable styles—colors, fonts, grid settings—without needing to touch code.
    • Better Category/Tag Handling:
Fixes and improvements for category and tag assignment, so your video taxonomy is bulletproof and browsing is easy for visitors.
    • Advertising & Monetization Blocks:
Built-in ad spots and monetization hooks. You’ll be able to drop in banners, pop-unders, or affiliate offers anywhere in your layout, right from the plugin settings.

    Always Open to Suggestions

This project is 100% user-driven—if you have ideas or need support for a specific source, feature, or monetization strategy, drop a comment or reach out directly. I’m documenting every step of development, so keep following for new releases, guides, and tips on running a profitable tube site in 2025.

    Stay tuned—big things ahead!

  • Tube Dreamer: WP Plugin Progress Update and What’s Coming Next

I recently began building an adult tube WordPress plugin called Tube Dreamer. The Tube Dreamer WordPress plugin is steadily evolving into a powerful tool for building and managing adult tube sites. The project has come a long way in just a short time, with core functionality now in place, and some exciting next steps planned.

    Current Functionality

    Here’s what’s working today:

    • RSS Import System
Tube Dreamer can fetch videos from adult content RSS feeds, parse them, filter by category or keyword, and preview the results inside the WordPress admin. Videos can be selectively imported as posts, with titles, descriptions, thumbnails, categories, and embedded previews. This is currently 100% functional using the PornHub Webmasters RSS feed.
    • Custom Post Type: Videos
Instead of dumping everything into regular blog posts, imported videos now live in a custom post type (video), keeping things organized and separated from your site’s main content. They support taxonomies like categories and tags and are publicly viewable and searchable on the frontend.
    • CSV Import Support
In addition to RSS, the plugin now supports importing large CSV files of embeddable videos. This includes a preview system that can filter by category and selectively import specific rows—even from massive datasets. This is currently 100% functional and tested using the TXXX.com embeddable dump files. More formats to come soon.
    • Admin UI Improvements
The Tube Dreamer admin menu is structured into multiple tabs (RSS, CSV, Settings, etc.), and backend functionality has been hardened to avoid access errors and improve stability.

    Recent Progress Highlights

    • Rewrote the core plugin from scratch (v3.0+) for stability and modular expansion
    • Added robust CSV parsing and preview, with filtering and import
    • Switched to custom post type (video) to better manage imported content
    • Handled admin access restrictions and plugin menu structure
    • Optimized import logic for speed and error resilience

    What’s Coming Next

The focus is now shifting from backend infrastructure to frontend presentation and monetization.

    1. Frontend Templates and Views

Next up: building out the frontend templates to display videos attractively. Planned features include:

    • Custom archive and single video templates
    • Grid layouts with thumbnail previews
    • Filtering by category/tag
    • Lightbox-style video playback or redirect to the embedded source
    • Optional shortcodes or Gutenberg blocks for placing videos anywhere

The goal is to give users a drop-in way to display tube content in a way that feels native to their WordPress theme—or override it with custom layouts.

    2. Affiliate Monetization Module

Tube Dreamer will also begin integrating monetization options, including:

    • Display blocks for affiliate banners or inline ads
    • Link rewriting or cloaking for outbound embeds
    • Potential support for rotating banners or geo-targeted ads
    • Integration with common adult affiliate programs or XML ad feeds

Affiliate revenue is a key part of running a successful tube site, so this will be a priority moving forward.

    On the Horizon

    • Tag-based auto-importing (scheduled jobs)
    • Bulk deletion or re-importing for cleanup
    • Post format compatibility for SEO plugins and structured data
    • Lightweight cache system for preview thumbnails
    • API support or Zapier integrations

    Your Feedback Shapes the Future

The plugin is not currently available to test in your WordPress install, but I plan on making it available soon. If you’re thinking about launching something like this on your own site with it, I’d love to hear what features matter most to you. Whether you care more about search engine indexing, user experience, mobile optimization, or monetization tools—your feedback will help prioritize development.

  • The Reboot: Smarter, Leaner, NSFW-er

After several years offline and a long fight to reclaim what was stolen, I Start a Porn Site is finally back.

If you’re a returning reader: welcome back. If you’re new here, this blog is a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to start, grow, and monetize adult websites—raw, real, and unfiltered.

    What’s Changed Since the Hack?

The adult industry, especially the tube site ecosystem, has evolved significantly in the past few years. Most of the tools and techniques I wrote about before 2025 are now obsolete. Here’s a quick rundown of what’s different now:

    • Content Aggregation Has Changed
Old scraping scripts and outdated affiliate feeds are no longer viable. Today, there are vendors offering WordPress plugins that automate content gathering—some better than others.
    • Affiliates Are No Longer King
The major tube sites now serve as the primary content providers. Traditional affiliate programs still exist but aren’t the only path to building a viable site.
    • Monetization Has Evolved
In addition to ad revenue, there are now more advanced models including premium upgrades, traffic reselling, whitelabel networks, and emerging crypto-powered platforms.

A New Purpose for This Blog

This time, I’m doing things differently.

Over the coming months, I’ll be documenting my journey as I explore and build in the adult tech space, including:

    • Developing My Own Tube Plugin
Many of the available tools are outdated, bloated, or overpriced. I’m building a cleaner, modern alternative—and I’ll be sharing every step of that process.
    • Exploring Other Adult Site Models
Tube sites are just one slice of the pie. I’ll be digging into fan subscription platforms, VR and AI-driven tools, adult games, and niche micro-communities.
    • Learning in Public
From coding and traffic growth to legal compliance and backend automation, I’ll be sharing what works, what doesn’t, and what to watch out for.

    Why I’m Doing This

Because the adult site space is full of smoke and mirrors. I want to strip away the mystery and give real, practical insight into what it takes to succeed—through hands-on experimentation, honest reviews, and open development.

If you’re building your own site, thinking about entering the space, or just curious how it all works behind the curtain, you’re in the right place.

  • Step 3a – What Hosting Package Should I Choose for My Adult Website

When it all comes down to it, there are really only two types of hosting packages to choose from these days; Windows and Linux. I use Linux and  Vicetemple usually when hosting adult content.

Because of some of the software we’re going to use to run our website, we want Linux. We need PHP, MySQL, FFMpeg and a few other things that work best on Linux, so make sure you don’t get set up on a Windows account. If you already have Windows hosting, I would  try to setup your site on that then if you end up having troubles, you can always request a switch to Linux.

You can get an appropriate hosting plan by choosing the basic package  here:

  • Step 6 – Get Adult Video Content for Your Site

Now things should start getting a little more exciting. You site is online and it’s time to fill it up with videos for every tom dick and harry to log on and start enjoying!

So, where do we get these videos?

You could grab a camera, put an ad in the paper for some “models” and start shooting. This seems like it would be a whole lot of fun, but not so easily executed AND it would take years to compile the amount of content that some of these other sites have. Redtube.com, xtube.com, youporn.com, xhamster.com, xvideos.com and the like don’t shoot their own adult videos anyways. They all use what we call affiliate content.

    And so can you!

There are a number of companies out there that specialize in creating original content and they need people like you and me to promote their programs so they can make money and continue to make more original adult content for the masses to enjoy. In order to further promote their products, they let adult webmasters use portions of it on their websites. AND if someone clicks through your website and purchases one of their products, THEY WILL PAY YOU a tidy commission. That’s a win win situation if I ever saw one.

Here’s more info on  how you can sign up to get your own free affiliate content!

PS. I use AEBN for some of my content needs, click here to sign up with them.

  • Why Start a Porn Site

There are only really two reasons to start up a porn site.

    1. You like porn
    2. You like money

Both perfectly valid reasons. No business venture can be successful if it’s not able susteain itself and in order for a business to sustain it’s self it must make money. Money to pay for overhead costs and money to pay the operator (aka you). And believe me when I say that you will try much harder to make your new porn business sustainable if you like porn.

So that’s the magical formula to get you started, you must like porn and like money. Now you’re on your way to being an adult site webmaster!

    The only question now is:

    1. What do I do now?
    2. How do I get started with my new porn website?
    3. What kind of expenses and start up costs are involved for an adult webmaster?
    4. What kind of adult website will I build?
    5. How will I get content for my new adult website?
    6. How do I make money from my new porn site?
    7. What are the legal considerations for running a porn web site?

OK, so there are actually a lot of questions now.

In the following articles, I will do my best to explain these as I document my journey in building my own adult web site. We will cover everything from technical issues to expense issues to the most exciting part, getting adult content to display on your website and collecting money you’ve earned through your new porn site.

I do best when i’m answering questions, so leave comments! I will answer them and maybe cover some in an article.

  • First Step to Market Your Porn Site

Now it’s time for the first step in getting visitors to come check out what your porn site has to offer! To get moving on this we need to have what I like to call a “plan” in place. This isn’t a full fledged marketing plan, but more of a set of guidelines that will keep you focused while you perform  your various marketing tasks.

Luckily, just by having a website you’re already almost finished this step.

Define your Product (a.k.a. Porn Site)

In order to market our site we need to know exactly what it is that we’re marketing. Back in Step 1: Choose a Name you chose a name for your porn site based on a number of factors. During this process you probably also defined a specific subject matter and hopefully picked a bit of a niche for the kind of content you were going to display.

Let’s say your site is called: GirlfriendMovieTheatre.com

I’m willing to bet that you’re content is going to be strictly movies. It will be only amateur. And will be younger girls in pov shots from taken by their boyfriend.  We could define our site with a position statement like:

    GirlfriendMovieTheatre.com
Watch real amateur girlfriends  filmed by their exes.

This is a little bland for now, but it’s a starting point that does its job. It tells anyone reading exactly what to expect when visiting your site. It also gives you a clear direction when gathering content for your site.

This new “positioning statement” we’ve created allows us to create a clear path in our marketing.

    1. Define our audience
Who is it that wants to watch real amateur girlfriends filmed by their exes.
    2. Define our marketing channels
Where and how do these people look for real amateur girlfriends filmed by their exes
    3. Determine Organic SEO guidlines
What terms are these people using to search for real amateur girlfriends filmed by their exes
    4. Improve our site
How do we make sure we stay on target and are there any better providers of real amateur girlfriend content our there

OK, no real marketing yet, but if you answer these questions for your self in the beginning it will be much smoother sailing as we continue down the path to porn site success!
